Prince Andrew’s firm linked to controversial PPE millionaire

Prince Andrew is facing renewed scrutiny over his business affiliations following revelations linking one of his ventures to PPE Medpro, a company embroiled in controversy over government contracts awarded during the COVID-19 pandemic.

PPE Medpro, associated with Conservative peer Baroness Michelle Mone, secured significant government contracts for personal protective equipment (PPE) supply. The firm is currently under investigation by the National Crime Agency (NCA) for alleged irregularities in the procurement process. Recent reports indicate that a company connected to Prince Andrew had business dealings with individuals involved in PPE Medpro, raising questions about the extent of these relationships.

This development adds to the Duke of York’s challenges, as he has previously faced public and institutional backlash over his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In the wake of a widely criticized BBC Newsnight interview, several organizations, including KPMG and Standard Chartered, withdrew support from his Pitch@Palace initiative.

The latest revelations have prompted calls for greater transparency regarding Prince Andrew’s business engagements and their potential implications. As investigations continue, the royal’s connections to controversial figures and entities remain under close examination.
