A tragic incident unfolded at a campsite in North Wales where a one-year-old girl has died following a collision with a vehicle.
Emergency services were called to the scene in the Gwynedd area on Sunday, where the young child was reported to have been involved in a collision on private land used as a camping site. Despite swift medical attention, the girl was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
North Wales Police confirmed that the fatal collision took place at around 2pm, and the family is now being supported by specially trained officers. Authorities are working closely with other emergency services to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said, “We are currently investigating a fatal road traffic collision on private land involving a vehicle and a child. Our thoughts remain with the child’s family at this heart-breaking time.”
