Prince William and Princess Kate are marking their 14th wedding anniversary with a meaningful visit to the Scottish Isles of Mull and Iona, returning to the country where their relationship began during their university years at St. Andrews.
The royal couple, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, are spending two days engaging with local communities and supporting environmental initiatives. Their itinerary includes visits to Tobermory’s vibrant market, Aros Hall community center, and Croft3, a sustainable farm and restaurant. Notably, Croft3 offers a chocolate and almond cake reminiscent of their wedding dessert.
On the second day, they will join local rangers and schoolchildren in outdoor learning activities at the Ardura Community Forest, part of Scotland’s ancient Atlantic rainforest. Additionally, their Royal Foundation plans to announce the development of two community spaces on the islands.
This trip also marks Princess Kate’s first overnight royal engagement since completing chemotherapy in 2024, highlighting her return to public duties. The couple’s visit underscores their commitment to rural communities and environmental conservation, reflecting their personal and philanthropic values.
